Welcome (we think).

We’re jumping on the blogging bandwagon.  Not that the world needs another blog, but everyone seems to have an opinion –including us. And even though I’m talking in plural- it’s really just me (TNH) at the moment. And at the moment, I think I’m probably the only one reading this blog (and, maybe my mom) . . . but, whatev.

What’s this blog about, you say? For starters, its the official blog of Plenary Publishing, a new independent publishing company that focuses on the African-American and multi-cultural market. We’ll cover everything from the latest news on our company, including author signings and new releases, as well as books that we’ve read and other topics of interest to multi-cultural readers.

This blog, however, is about more than just books. It’s about news, politics, entertainment, sports, randomness … things that everyone’s talking about, as well as the things that fly under the radar. We’re taking the broad line on this blog because many of the topics and issues that we discuss can ultimately provide wonderful fodder for new books (and put us on to new perspectives).

So, please indulge us. Ok, me. I’m a serious news junkie and a diehard politico, so those non-fiction aspiring writers that eventually find their way to this blog may find a publishing home.
