Tyler Perry Continues To Enlarge That Territory
Meet The Browns Grosses $20 Million At Box Office.
Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns” was number two at this weekend’s box office, grossing $20 million. “Horton Hears A Who” held on to the number one position, grossing $25 million. Despite coming in at #2, Perry’s latest work was Easter’s biggest hit, according to E! and Exhibitor Relations.
I’m not the biggest TP fan (though I did like Why Did I Get Married), but much congrats to Perry and what’s he’s doing in Hollywood. And I better not get threatening emails about not being a big TP fan. I mean, have you seen “House of Payne?”
On another note, I am a big Dr. Seuss fan, having grown up on his books as a young’un. My favorites:
